MICROBLADING

Microblading uses a handheld tool with several tiny little needles that create many hair-like impressions by implanting pigment strokes under the top layer of skin. These strokes are made to resemble actual hair and gives a very natural look. Microblading is typically used to create, enhance or reshape brow appearance in terms of shape and color.

Pros: Very natural looking - each stroke looks like a real hair

Cons: Least permanent of all permanent makeup because of the pigment is penetrates the skin at very shallow depth. Just be sure to get regular touch-ups every 8-12 months (for a color boost) and you’ll do great! Microblading is not as effective on oily/combo skin types - if this describes your beautiful face, keep reading for more info on our other methods!

Who is microblading best for? Microblading is perfect for those who have thin or patchy brows; wants subtle shape enhancement; does not regularly fill their brows with liner or powder.

MICROSHADING

Microshading is similar to microblading but instead of tiny hair-like strokes, microshading uses teeny tiny dots for a less defined look. We like to describe this technique as giving an airbrushed look like using a brow powder and microblading looks more like the strokes one could make with a brow pencil.

Pros: Airbrushed look and can combine with other techniques for a more natural look.

Cons: Less natural look than microblading when using this technique by itself.

Who should get microshading? Microshading is best for those with oily skin.

POWDER BROW

Powder brow technique is most like a traditional tattoo and involves the application of thousands of tiny dots of pigment. That pigment is inserted into the skin and gradually builds up to create a defined shape and color.

Pros: Powder brows, because they are most like a traditional tattoo, last the longest of the brow techniques. The brow will be more defined, fuller and dramatic that other hair stroke methods.

Cons: Many people are fearful of this method and the expectation of results. This method has been around for decades and has a less than desirable reputation. Many people think they will have unnatural, defined 1980’s eyebrows. When using a professional artist (like us) we will make sure your brow service gives you the look you want.

Who should get Powder Brows? Powder brows are best for those with oily skin or those who regularly have to fill in their brows with powder and pencils. This method resembles an expertly filled in brow.

COMBO BROW:

There really is not a “best” method for eyebrow enhancing but this method BY FAR is our favorite. It gives a more defined and filled-in look than microblading but is less dramatic and defined than the powder brow. This method combines microblading and powder brow techniques.

Pros: The combination of microbladed hair strokes and powder fill gives a more defined but uber natural look.

Cons: The combo brow costs slightly more than using only one technique. Literally, not much more at all. This is your FACE so we want all of our services to be reasonable so you can achieve the look you desire.

Who should get Combo Brows? This technique really is a great option for everyone. All brows are customized specifically for each beautiful face so with this technique you really cannot go wrong with a defined yet very natural look whether you are going sans-makeup or full out beauty queen for the day!
